Is there any standard book that specifies the dimensions of electrical interfaces? Is there any basis for the commonly used NPT1/2 interface?
NPT1/2, or G1/2, is the connection standard for the interface size of solenoid valves. It is generally connected to an explosion-proof junction box or conduit. It depends on which type is used for solenoid valves, or for control valves. It is usually specified clearly in the technical agreement.
