Whether in towns or rural areas, electrical systems don’t have grounding – is this a characteristic of China? Usually, only a leakage protector is installed, or, more simply, a fuse. Is there a lot of room for improvement in electrical safety in China?
Currently, household electricity use generally relies on a five-wire system, with five wires coming into the home: red, yellow, green, blue, and the ground wire (which is a yellow-green colored wire). **The standard is that red, yellow, and green are the live wires, while blue is the neutral wire ； The ground wire is a yellow-green dual-colored wire.
