Could you explain in more detail the fire hazard classifications of Class A, B, C, D, and E, as well as the explosion-proof zones 1 and 2? In particular, it provides some support for the procurement of electrical equipment – is it necessary for motors to be explosion-proof, and what is the required explosion-proof rating?
Look at the standards, the Electrical Design Code for Explosive Environments. All the questions you want to know are inside. For fires, refer to the building codes. Fire and explosion environments are two different things.

Explosion protection is generally not required outdoors. For example, sewage pumps installed on outdoor sewage tanks don’t need it, as the outdoor environment is open and explosive gas and dust can disperse there
The classification of explosion-proof zones does not depend on whether they are outdoors or indoors; it depends instead on whether there are protective gases or dusts and other such substances in the surrounding area
