I would like to ask fellow sailors: if the motor is 5 meters above the ground, how should its casing be grounded? It’s a bit unsightly to connect it all the way to the grounding flat bar below, but connecting it to the nearest steel frame isn’t compliant either. Thank you!
A support is installed along the steel frame, a PVC plastic pipe is laid, and the grounding wire is passed through the pipe to be led upward
The grounding flat steel clamps are fixed to the equipment foundation, and it looks very good – there’s no unsightly aspect to it; this is the same method used for grounding the foundations of the synchronous machines on the second floor.
Ahaha, it’s very simple! The grounding of such motor equipment is usually done along with the power cables! If so, when the motor power cable is installed using conduit routing, it can be placed in the same protective conduit as the power cable ； If it is a cable tray installation method, then install the cable tray, connecting its starting point to the corresponding grounding bus!
