For the spare new hydrogen machine, which excitation space heater should be turned on? If it runs regularly, how often is it run?
It depends on the level of humidity in your environment: keep it on if it’s very humid; turn it off before turning it on. If it’s dry, it’s fine to leave it off
Dear friend, regarding the use of moisture-proof heaters, I suggest that you refer to the relevant instructions in the installer’s manual provided by the supplier; that would be the most reliable approach! Generally speaking, whether such moisture-proof heaters are activated is related to whether the equipment is in operation. Typically, they should be set to automatic heating mode when the equipment is not in use (for instance, moisture-proof heaters for high- and low-voltage motors on-site all follow this principle); it’s not determined based on weather conditions!
Additionally, the power supply circuit for the heater can be designed to be interlocked with the main circuit (using the normally closed auxiliary contacts of the circuit breaker, which close to activate the heating circuit once the circuit breaker is opened), such that the heater stops operating in heating mode when the main equipment is in use. Generally, no manual intervention is required for activation or deactivation; only regular inspection and maintenance are needed!
