Recently, Anqing Petrochemical has precisely regulated the load on the heat and power generation systems, making maximum use of the **grid’s time-based electricity pricing scheme to effectively reduce electricity costs. Due to the load capacity limitations of the generators and boilers, Anqing Petrochemical’s self-generated electricity is not sufficient to meet its operational needs, so it must obtain additional power from the **electrical grid. Summer is a peak period for societal electricity demand. In response, State Grid Anhui Company has introduced guidelines on time-of-use electricity pricing to encourage enterprises to draw power during periods of lower grid load, thereby reducing the burden on the grid. Anqing Petrochemical makes use of the off-peak hours – 2 hours at noon and 6 hours at night – to draw as much electricity as possible from the power grid to meet its production needs, thereby effectively reducing electricity costs. In the face of frequent load adjustments, Anqing Petrochemical scientifically formulated a load adjustment plan based on the overall electricity consumption situation for production and operations. It proactively implemented specialized control measures and emergency response plans. Coupled with on-site inspections and monitoring of changes in unit parameters, this ensured the safe and stable operation of its boilers and turbines.
