Everyone pays attention to safety and everyone will conduct emergency investigation and rectification of hidden risks. -------------------------------------------------- On June 11, after nearly a month of tracking and monitoring, the Jilin Petrochemical Electrical Instrument Center completed the operation verification of two domestically produced inverters in the low-density polyethylene unit. The parameters of the equipment were stable and the operating status was stable, marking the successful implementation of the domestic transformation project of imported inverters. This transformation gave full play to the professional and technical advantages accumulated by the company over the years, replacing high-priced imported equipment with high-reliability domestic equipment, saving equipment procurement costs by more than 3 million yuan. It is understood that the two frequency converters involved in this transformation are the melt pump YM-7004 (1000kW) and the pelletizer YM-7007 (135kW) in the low-density polyethylene unit. The original equipment is an imported brand from the United States and has been in service for 16 consecutive years since it was put into use in 2010. Long-term high-intensity operation leads to the aging of equipment circuit boards, component performance degradation, and significant decline in operational stability, which has gradually become a key hidden danger affecting the safe and stable production of equipment. In order to completely solve the problems of high operation and maintenance costs and outstanding safety hazards of old imported equipment, the technical team of Jilin Petrochemical Electrical Instrument Center, after multiple rounds of technical research, program demonstration and equipment selection, decisively decided to implement a localized alternative plan and selected Sine Electric high-performance series inverters to replace the original imported equipment. Compared with imported equipment with a single original value of over 2 million yuan, the total purchase cost of two domestic inverters is only more than 900,000 yuan, and the equipment performance, operational stability and working condition adaptability fully meet production needs. During the transformation implementation stage, the technical team strictly adhered to the installation specifications of high-voltage electrical equipment, focused on core links and overcame difficulties, and efficiently completed all work including scheme design, equipment installation, debugging and optimization in just three weeks. The team insisted on paying equal attention to improving quality and reducing costs while ensuring safety. On the basis of retaining the original intact cabinets, transformers and other core equipment, they comprehensively sorted out the power and control cables in the cabinets, added insulating sleeves, and updated old cables to completely eliminate safety hazards such as short circuits and leakage. At the same time, the electrical circuit structure is optimized and modular standardized wiring technology is adopted to simplify the on-site operation and maintenance process and facilitate subsequent equipment maintenance. At the level of technical optimization, the team strives for excellence and precision, repeatedly calibrating five core control parameters such as FDT and VDO, and completely solves long-standing technical problems such as DCS system speed and current feedback deviation of old equipment. In addition, the technical team boldly innovated and used vector SVC control technology to replace the traditional frequency-to-voltage ratio control mode, which effectively shortened the response time of the inverter, further improved the production quality of low-density resin products, and achieved multiple improvements in equipment safety, production efficiency, and product quality. This localization transformation of frequency converters not only effectively eliminated the safety production bottleneck of old equipment and significantly reduced equipment procurement and operation and maintenance costs, but also accumulated valuable experience in localization substitution of high-voltage electrical equipment, laying a solid foundation for Jilin Petrochemical to tap into the potential of cost reduction and efficiency improvement, promote equipment localization upgrades, and build a solid production safety defense line.
