At what voltage does a 3.6V dry cell be considered dead?
Hehehe, it’s only when the voltage drops to 0V that we can say the battery is out of power :lol. As for the drop in battery voltage, it depends on whether the electrical measurement system is working properly and what the minimum voltage required for its operation is. Normal operation means that the system has no functional defects (such as being able to communicate properly) and no performance issues (such as being able to carry out measurements with accuracy). There are too many instruments, each with different functions, so there is no fixed standard – some can still function properly even when the voltage drops to 1.8V or 1V, while others stop working once the voltage drops to 2.8V :lol

After being used for a long time, even though the residual voltage is still relatively high, the internal resistance of the dry cell becomes very large, which means it is no longer functional.

If a rechargeable battery stops charging after being used for a while, it’s necessary to sand off the coating on its surface, apply tin to it, and then it can be charged again. Teeth grinding and polishing both destroy the oxide layer.
It’s okay if the dry cell is completely worn out; other types of cells might not show any reaction when they’re completely used up
