Dear sea friends, regarding the temperature control of the converter in the hydrogen production unit, due to varying degrees of internal leakage in the PSA programmable control valves, the fuel gas control valve for the converter has been switched off; now only the desorption gas is used for combustion. Nevertheless, the temperature of the converter remains very high, with the outlet temperature being around 805°C. Do anyone have any good methods to reduce the furnace temperature without increasing energy consumption?
At full burn-off, the Analysis gas can only maintain at most 60% of the production capacity; check the capacity under increased load conditions
1. Resolve the internal leakage issue of the valve as soon as possible. 2. Extend the adsorption time while maintaining the required purity, and reduce the amount of desorbing gas.
Lowering the furnace temperature doesn’t seem to help reduce consumption, does it? 800 degrees isn’t that high, is it? What is the material of the furnace tube?
Also, could you please tell me how much hydrogen does your Qianfang system consume at the moment? I think addressing internal leakage is the top priority
The high temperature is causing the Analysis gas to be sent to the flare – increase it a bit!
Increase the negative pressure to its maximum level to raise the temperature of the convection chamber and produce more steam
So much analysis gas? There’s a problem; the hydrogen yield should be very low, right?
The internal leakage amount – how much is it, or is the pressure imbalance particularly noticeable?
