Since the design pressure of the inlet pipes and inlet filters is low, while that of the outlet pipes is high, this arrangement is intended to prevent high-pressure fluid from remaining in the inlet pipes due to improper closure of the outlet check valve, thereby avoiding damage to the low-pressure equipment.
The hydrogenation unit operates at high pressures; the outlet of the feed pump is a critical point where high pressure can leak into the low-pressure system. To prevent this, it is necessary to ensure that the inlet manual valve of the standby feed pump is open, and that the outlet check valve is secure, so as to avoid backflow of the medium and damage to the low-pressure pipelines at the pump’s inlet.
Prevent high voltage from leaking into low voltage – snap-on flange
To prevent the high-pressure medium discharged during pump operation from flowing into the standby pump and causing overpressure in the inlet piping of the standby pump
Export back-feeding protection, overpressure prevention, safety
Prevent excessive inlet fluid pressure from damaging the pump
Prevent high voltage from causing deformation of the flange top due to leakage to low voltage
