There are two hydrogen mixing points before the 8.0MP refining furnace for hydrogenation: one is the main hydrogen mixing point using a 150-mm pipeline, located before the last heat exchanger after the feed pump; the other is one using a 50-mm pipeline, located before the first heat exchanger after the pump. What is the purpose of this design? If any teachers understand this, please help answer it. Thank you!
Use purge hydrogen; it should be located very close to the pump outlet. Your processing volume isn’t high – a few hundred thousand tons per year?
The one numbered 50 is used to stop work and purge oil from the pipelines! Use the 150 one during normal operation!

When the unit is shut down for maintenance, after changing the hydrogen circulation in the reaction system, open line 50 to use it for hydrogen purging; otherwise, the residual oil in the pipeline from the pump outlet to the heat exchanger cannot be completely removed
