Good evening, everyone. Our company has a methanol-to-hydrogen production unit. During the technical discussions, there was no mention of online analysis for gases such as CO, CO2, and O2. When we inspected other companies’ units, we saw that they were equipped with monitoring devices. Is it necessary to use online analysis? What are the reasons for this? Thank you all
Online instruments are a trend; they can reduce the workload associated with quality inspection and also facilitate early industrial adjustments. If it’s possible, go for it; that’s how things are on our end.
