Where does the hydrogen go when the plant is shut down?

After the unit is shut down, where does the hydrogen in the reaction system go? It can’t be burned off, right? There’s not enough hydrogen to be completely burned; the capacity of the gas tanks is limited. Please advise

This is different, right? Some are complete sets of equipment; if it’s just a single device, it can only burn up to a certain extent. Otherwise, how can emergency pressure release be handled?
What else can be done if it’s not burned? That’s why starting and stopping the engine is costly.
If there is no good recovery device, it is burned in a flare.
