What could be the reasons for the new hydrogen compressor to stop operating due to a fault, and for no oil pressure to be available when attempting to start the auxiliary oil pump?
First, you need to determine what caused the shutdown due to a fault Is it also due to low oil pressure? Is the compressor reciprocating?
I’m not sure about this either. I work at a chemical plant; on that day, the equipment supervisor had an exam, and one of the questions was about what to do when a compressor stops working due to a fault and the auxiliary oil pump is started but the oil pressure is zero
Well, it’s reciprocating with two-stage compression
1. Is the auxiliary oil pump motor working? If the motor is running, could it be that the wiring is reversed, causing the motor to rotate in the opposite direction? 2. Is the inlet valve of the auxiliary oil pump open? 3. Is the pressure gauge in use? Is the root valve closed?
1. Check whether the instrument is in use； 2. Check whether the process is correct ； 3. Check whether the lubricant flow can be observed through the glass window ； 4. Is the auxiliary oil pump functioning properly?
