What are the advantages and disadvantages of using nitrogen and gas for protecting the hydrogen feed tank? It would be better if there were literature on this topic
Nitrogen in the Gas Province: if there are gas tanks, then use them; otherwise, it’s necessary to consider what would be more cost-effective.
I think using nitrogen would be safer.
Using nitrogen is cheap, but it can only be vented; combustible gas can be recycled.
Devices with gas holder gas recovery must not use nitrogen in order to maintain the calorific value of the gas holder gas.
If nitrogen is introduced into a low-wattage system, it will affect the calorific value of the gas. Another issue is the economic aspect; a single device uses not much nitrogen, but when many devices are used together, it represents a significant expense.
Nitrogen dissolves in the feedstock, causing an increase in the nitrogen content in the circulating hydrogen, a decrease in its purity, and higher energy consumption; this problem does not occur with fuel gas.

Considering the actual conditions of each factory, if gas can be used, it is definitely better to use nitrogen.
