Dear friends, let’s discuss together: In the case of a hydrogen production converter where the furnace tubes rupture and there is a severe leakage of fluid, resulting in positive pressure inside the furnace and a large-scale fire, is it possible to use fire-fighting steam to extinguish the fire?
I think we need to add steam, stop feeding material, stop supplying fuel, stop the PSA unit, increase exhaust airflow, reduce blast air volume, and enable a large-scale circulation
We don’t have fire suppression steam here; if such a situation does occur, we should increase the air supply, reduce the feed rate, and turn on the drum exhaust fan!

Just perform direct chain parking, cut off the raw materials, and increase the steam supply! Relatively speaking, it’s still better when there’s fire in the furnace! Even if the fire-fighting steam is turned on due to a high furnace temperature, it doesn’t necessarily mean the fire will be extinguished; if it does go out, that’s even more concerning, as the risk of an explosion increases! Also, increase the drum exhaust fan as mentioned above!
