After installing the blind flange for guiding, shims are added; on which side should the shims be placed? Is it the side with high pressure?
The blind plate itself does not have sealing capabilities, so gaskets must be used on both sides.
8-character blind flanges are commonly used in pipelines, so they should have gaskets on both sides.
It needs to be added on both sides; there’s a possibility of leakage on both sides.
