Does anyone know anything about adsorbents? Could you tell me what exactly Shanghai Huaxi PSA adsorbents are?
What are SHX-101, SHX-201, SHX-302, SHX-401, SHX-402?
The adsorbents should include activated alumina, activated carbon, and molecular sieves; which one corresponds to which among them?

Each company uses different codes for its adsorbents; if there is a filling plan or technical specification for a particular project that specifies the amount to be used and the physical properties of the adsorbent, it should be possible to determine what exactly is being referred to. In typical hydrogen production units, active alumina (for water and hydrocarbon removal), silica gel (for CO2 removal), activated carbon (usually in the form of black columns, primarily used for CO2 and CH4 removal), and 5A molecular sieve (in spherical form, mainly used for CO removal) are packed from the bottom (inlet) to the top (exit) of the adsorption tower. For reference only. Some may not contain silica gel and only have activated carbon filled in, while others may not have activated carbon at all and only contain silica gel.

If Huaxi conducts PSA for you, the details are all specified in the process manual. We are also PSA from West China; I guess the values are more or less the same.
The ratio of the adsorbents is closely related to the raw materials; the feed gases for PSA include shift gas, reforming hydrogen, catalytic dry gas, and so on. Your claim about this ratio is questionable
That’s absolutely right. The adsorbent ratio is closely related to the composition of the feed gas and the requirements for the product gas.
Who knows which supplier the activated carbon and silica gel come from? :D Thank you~
