The hydrogen production plant has not been in operation for two years; what issues should be taken into account during its restart? The catalysts are still the same ones from before, and it was operational for a total of three months?
System airtightness check, adjustment of control valves... Trial operation of the heating furnace system, PSA unit, and compressors. If the catalyst in the system is well protected with nitrogen, give it a try; there should be no major issues
The water system needs to be thoroughly flushed; if necessary, the boiler should be boiled to ensure steam quality.
Your converter and PSA have not been used for 2 years; during this period of parking, was nitrogen used for replacement, and has it been under slight nitrogen pressure protection ever since? If the transformation does not maintain pressure, it is very likely that the catalyst will undergo desulfurization, requiring re-sulfurization. With pipelines inspected every 2 years, rust has probably formed at some point, necessitating another purging process. Testing must start with individual units, and no one can guarantee that all moving equipment will remain in good condition over a period of 2 years
Just proceed as per the initial start-up procedures. Be careful as the catalyst might develop problems due to improper storage; nothing else should be an issue
