Recently, we’re having trouble raising the initial boiling point of the tail oil from our unit? Please help, thank you. Our unit is for the hydrocracking of paraffin oil
The temperature at the bottom of the tower can reach over 450 degrees, with a gas injection rate of 780 kg/h
First of all, it’s necessary to ensure that the diesel components are completely removed; otherwise, when diesel is mixed with tail oil, the initial boiling point won’t increase. Then, follow the methods mentioned above, such as using steam from the bottom of the tower or raising the temperature at the bottom.
How is the temperature controlled? It must be fake; there’s no fear of thermal decomposition
