How can we control the initial boiling point of diesel to be 172–180°C and the 95% boiling point to be 355–362°C? We use a hydrocracking unit. Thank you!
Keep the initial boiling point low, control the temperature at the top of the main distillation column at a lower level, and also keep the reflux temperature in the upper and middle sections low, in order to reduce the dry point of gasoline； The dry point of diesel is high; therefore, the feed temperature to the distillation tower and the reflux temperatures in the lower and middle sections are increased. The specific operations still need to be determined based on the actual operating conditions of your distillation tower.
