How to adjust excessive negative pressure in the furnace chamber

In a heating furnace with natural ventilation, if the negative pressure in the furnace chamber is too high, the flue dampers should be gradually closed. These dampers are used to regulate the negative pressure in the furnace chamber; while doing so, it is important to monitor the oxygen level. If the oxygen level is also high, then the air valves of the burners should be slowly reduced as well. Generally, the negative pressure should be adjusted to between -20 and -40 Pa, with an oxygen level of 2 to 4%; In furnaces with a well-developed waste heat recovery system (complete with exhaust fans), in addition to using flue dampers, the negative pressure can also be reduced by lowering the frequency of operation of the exhaust fans.

Negative pressure: ensure proper coordination between blowing and extraction. Is the high negative pressure caused by a low air supply volume or a high amount of smoke being expelled? Adjust the baffle to regulate the frequency of the blower
Reduce the air valve at the top of the furnace to lower the load on the exhaust fan, or decrease the opening degree of the inlet valve of the exhaust fan. If oxygen levels permit, it is possible to slightly increase the damper on the flue at the bottom of the furnace, expand the secondary air valves, or appropriately raise the load on the blower.
