According to the procedures, once the regular drainage from the steam drum is completed, the second valve that is farther away from the drum should be closed first, followed by the first valve that is closer to the drum. It was also stated that this same sequence applies when removing the silencer; I would like to know why this order is used
Due to the blowdown of air tanks, rust and salts may be present. Moreover, the valves that are closed first experience throttling erosion, which can lead to damage. So, use the second valve to close first; this way, if there is a problem with the manual valve, the first valve can be closed to allow for the replacement of the second valve. If the first valve is damaged, it is connected to the main body of the equipment and cannot be disconnected for replacement. It should be this kind of consideration. .
I learned about it, but the opening degrees of these two valves set for fixed operation are quite small; I even adjusted them last time
