Who has used hydrogenation catalysts that do not require sulfur injection in production, and which company is that? Is it a precious metal? What device? .
Generally, sulfur injection is not required for the hydrogenation of petroleum products; sulfidation is carried out only at the start of operation. Once sulfidation is complete, the presence of sulfur in the feed oil ensures that the sulfur content in the catalyst does not get lost. Hydrogenation of coal tar generally requires the addition of a small amount of sulfur, as the raw material contains little sulfur and plenty of nitrogen.
