What is the purpose of using oil for soaking a double-tube automatic backwash filter?
I don’t understand what was meant – what specific process is it? Different processes have different requirements
Just like the ordinary filter on the pump, when it gets clogged and the pressure difference increases, soaking it in diesel helps to clean it

The pressure difference of the backwash filter has reached a certain level – shouldn’t it trigger automatic backwashing then? Does it only enter the immersion oil when the pressure difference is high?

The soaking oil used for backwashing filters made of heavy oil (such as paraffin oil) is generally diesel. Over time, as the filter is in use, some impurities adhere to the surface of its filter elements; backwashing alone is not sufficient to remove these impurities completely. By using soaking oil, it becomes easier to remove the impurities from the surface of the filter elements.
