High bed temperature in the hydrogen production converter

Dear experts: In the dry gas hydrogen production unit of my company, the bed temperature of the medium-pressure reactor has suddenly increased by 10°C. Upon checking, the inlet temperature of the medium-pressure reactor, as well as the carbon monoxide content in the converter and in the gas coming out of the medium-pressure reactor, all showed changes. The temperature at the upper part of the medium-pressure reactor remained unchanged, while only the temperature at the lower part increased by 10°C. I would appreciate it if you could help analyze the reasons for this.

If you think there is nothing wrong with the manufacturing process, then look for issues with the equipment itself; for example, rust on the wires connecting the thermocouples can increase resistance, which in turn leads to higher measured temperatures.
