On the pressure drop issue in wax oil hydrocracking reactors

The refining reactor in the cracking unit where I work has almost no pressure drop, around 0.02 Mpa, but the pressure drop in the cracking reaction is around 0.5 Mpa. I don’t quite understand this; I hope someone experienced can help explain it.
It’s possible that the gauge is not very accurate; the pressure gauge used for precision export applications shows a higher reading, which is causing this issue. Otherwise, when the catalysts are roughly of the same quality, the pressure drop for purification is slightly higher than that for cracking
If the table is fine, then it’s likely that the catalyst is the problem; this situation hardly ever occurs
This situation has been going on for a long time, and I still don’t understand what’s going on
The answer above is correct; generally, refined reactors have a greater pressure drop
Check again by referring to the primary meters at the reactor inlet and outlet as well as the remote meters, to confirm that all pressure gauges are functioning properly. Let’s check if the pressure difference is accurate.
