Why is it said in the Q&A on hydrocracking technology that \"the space velocity of the hydrocracking catalyst bed is proportional to the polymerization products\"? Could someone please help me understand what this sentence means?

In the technical Q&A, it means that the higher the air velocity, the more polymer is produced – it’s directly proportional! I thought about it later and realized that the higher the air velocity, the less effective it is to saturate the olefins using the post-treatment agent; this leads to increased formation of olefinic condensation rubber, but this is just my personal opinion
The space velocity in the hydrocracking bed is proportional to the polymerization products； In other words, the greater the feed rate, the more polymer is produced, and the faster the pressure drop across the reactor bed increases.
This space velocity should be understood as exceeding the maximum value that the catalyst can handle; the higher the space velocity, the lower the catalyst’s conversion rate, which leads to unconverted olefins causing polymerization and an increase in the production of polymers
