I’d like to ask everyone: for the wax oil cracking unit, the flow meter at the outlet of the reaction feed pump is equipped with flushing equipment and pipelines – what medium is used for flushing? Someone told me that dibutylene glycol is used as the flushing medium; I’m not sure if that’s correct What medium is used for rinsing on everyone’s devices?
Wax oil flushing is a bit wasteful; HAGO could be tried

We use 46# turbine oil here, and a high-pressure gauge filler is used to continuously feed oil into the system, in order to prevent the wax oil from flowing back into the gauge pressure tubes and causing them to become clogged, which could lead to malfunctions in the flow meters. These flow meters are equipped with interlocks; any malfunction in the meters will trigger an interlock that shuts down the pump and stops the feed process.
First, it is necessary to understand the reason for flushing: to prevent wax oil from solidifying and causing the instruments to malfunction. It is sufficient to choose a flushing medium with a low freezing point; at the same time, cost considerations must be taken into account, as well as the fact that the flushing medium must not contaminate the process medium.
