Currently, the incinerator’s waste boiler is severely corroded and therefore cannot operate (about 3 tons of elemental sulfur are generated per day). The exhaust gases from the Claus process contain high levels of sulfur, which affects the operation of the ammonia-based desulfurization process. Have anyone using sulfur recovery systems encountered this issue? How did you handle it? )
The catcher is damaged or the control pressure of the condenser is too high.
As mentioned above, if the liquid sulfur capture in the catcher is incomplete, excessive pressure in the condenser can lead to the entrainment of liquid sulfur; On one hand, the pressure of the control system can be considered; on the other hand, the collector can be inspected during maintenance, and screens can also be added at the gas-phase outlets of each condenser.
Check whether the temperature distribution in the hydrogenation reactor bed is normal. It is possible that there is a leakage in the catalyst of the hydrogenation reactor, resulting in severe deviation of the exhaust gas flow into the reactor and incomplete hydrogenation! It seems we need to stop work for repairs!
Check whether the liquid sulfur line of the catcher is unobstructed. It is necessary to maintain the temperature of the jacket heating for the liquid sulfur line above 120°C
This process should not involve tail gas hydrogenation, right?

May I ask if all the process gas outlets of the Grade 1, 2, and 3 condensing coolers are equipped with screens? Are there also screens for capturing liquid sulfur inside the collectors?
