The gas emerging from the breather of sulfur storage tanks contains hydrogen sulfide and sublimed sulfur. When dealing with hydrogen sulfide, it is necessary to prevent sublimed sulfur from clogging the hydrogen sulfide absorbent. What methods are available to treat and separate sublimed sulfur? Please help solve this. Thank you
Maybe my question wasn’t phrased very accurately; what I mean is to separate the sublimed sulfur.
The hydrogen sulfide content should be trace; there’s no need for recovery, right?
Jacketed steam heating is a good solution; that’s what our company does.
