Is nitrogen used to raise the temperature in the hydrogenation reactor of the sulfur unit after pre-sulfurization is completed? I heard that air can be used for raising the temperature before pre-sulfurization? Could the sea friends explain in more detail the process and the equipment involved in heating using circulating nitrogen?
I’ve never seen the air temperature rise; before the system’s temperature increases, nitrogen is used for replacement to ensure compliance, so it doesn’t make sense for the nitrogen temperature to rise. Process, quench tower, circulation fan, circulating gas preheater, reactor inlet heater, hydrogenation reactor, sulfur cooling.
Either a separate nitrogen compressor must be used, or the air valve of the hydrogen compressor needs to be replaced; otherwise, a nitrogen cycle cannot be carried out; Haven’t heard of air heating! ! !
The catalyst needs to be sulfided anyway; using air – will sulfidation occur faster or will passivation happen faster? That’s impossible in this case
It is filled with nitrogen, with oxygen content below 1%; the tests show it meets the requirements. Nitrogen serves as the carrier. As for the kinetic energy, it depends on whether steam is used for extraction or a circulation fan is employed in your process. The temperature is raised to around 210°C–230°C for pre-sulfidization; the exact temperature is determined by the catalyst manufacturer.
