After the desulfurization unit started operating, the temperature of the gas discharged from the rich liquid flash tank under pressure control remained high; this was not an issue in the previous cycle, as the temperature of the gas discharged under pressure control was normal. Currently, all other parameters are fine. Moreover, due to the high exhaust temperature and liquid in the exhaust, the liquid level in the large solvent tank has also been continuously dropping. I would like to ask the experts: what are the reasons for the high exhaust temperature in the rich liquid flash tank? How can the exhaust temperature be reduced?
1. If a medium-temperature and low-pressure flashing process is used, the temperature of the rich liquid after heat exchange (before entering the flash tank) can be appropriately reduced. 2. The temperature of the wash lean solution is too high; reduce it appropriately.
Is there no heat exchange before the rich liquid flash tank? Poor cooling effect? Is the temperature of the amine solution still high coming from the desulfurization tower?
You should clarify all the relevant parameters, such as the heat exchange temperature before flashing and the temperature of the washed lean liquid
A high exhaust temperature can only be explained by a high liquid level temperature; there’s no other reason for it. Try lowering the temperature at the inlet of the flash tank. Unless the tank is equipped with heating, or if the steam trap is leaking and causing the temperature to rise, but that possibility is low
The high exhaust temperature is due to the high temperature of the rich liquid; reduce the temperature of the rich liquid or the temperature of the washed lean liquid.
What is medium temperature and low pressure, and what are the respective ranges for temperature and pressure? The lean liquid enters the flash tank after being heated by a heat exchanger
Heat to above 80°C before the flash tank
Open the rich liquid heat exchanger in parallel mode to reduce the temperature of the rich liquid
