Generally, incinerators are taken into consideration. However, a steam ejector is needed; it’s preferable if it operates continuously to prevent any issues with the piping. For liquid sulfur degassing, both nitrogen and air can be used—each has its own advantages. It depends on what the client deems appropriate. What factors are considered when adding nitrogen? The parameters related to degassing, of course, include the residual hydrogen sulfide in the sulfur. Based on national standards, the amount of gas fed into the bubbler is adjusted accordingly

Due to practical operational limitations, it’s unlikely that the gas generated from degassing the liquid sulfur tank can be collected and pressurized for use in the Claus furnace. Generally, this gas is burned off using steam ejectors. If the sulfur content in this gas stream is particularly high, it would be advisable to check whether there are any issues with the preceding processes; the amount of hydrogen sulfide dissolved in liquid sulfur shouldn’t be very high. Of course, if one really wishes to recover this gas, theoretically it could also be fed into the Claus furnace—using steam ejectors for that purpose? ? However, the process configuration in actual operation is rather cumbersome. This is purely my personal opinion; please feel free to critique it
