Flame detection interlock for exhaust gas incinerator

I have installed an interlock that shuts down the sulfur generation fan when the flame detector in the sulfur recovery and sulfur generation furnace stops working, but there is no such interlock for the flame detector in the tail furnace. I would appreciate it if the experts could clarify whether an interlock to shut down the fan used for tail flame monitoring is necessary Thank you all

I just checked – here, the flame monitoring system of the incinerator is linked to the incinerator’s interlock mechanism.
It’s better to have interlocking; it’s also safer
The key is that after the flame detection interlock in the exhaust gas system, it should trigger the closure of the fuel gas valve; even if the exhaust gas fan operates, its main impact is likely on the furnace temperature. We do not interlock the exhaust fan shutdown here.
It is recommended to install it; otherwise, danger may arise.
