Why is the safety valve of the acidic water stripping tower installed above the liquid accumulation tank at the bottom of the tower?
The safety valve is installed on the gas outlet pipeline at the bottom of the acidic water stripping tower; the material discharged is mainly water vapor, with low levels of harmful components such as hydrogen sulfide and ammonia. Otherwise, if it is installed at the top of the tower, the discharged material will contain high levels of harmful components such as hydrogen sulfide and ammonia, and the discharge rate will be high, making subsequent treatment difficult and increasing the risks to safety and the environment.
Why isn’t the safety valve of the stripping tower connected to a flare, but instead vents directly to the atmosphere?
