According to a news release from Sinochem New Network on January 6, Jiangsu Nanda Optoelectronic Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Nanda Optoelectronic) announced its intention to use 77.6 million yuan in cash from its own funds to acquire approximately 16.17% of the shares in its holding subsidiary, Nanda Optoelectronic (Ulanqab) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Ulanqab Nanda). Following the completion of the transaction, Nanda Optoelectronics’ shareholding in Ulanqab Nanda will increase from 74.88% to 91.05%. The announcement states that the assets acquired in this transaction are 13.33% of the shares in Wulanchabu Nanda held by Suzhou Nansheng No. 3 Enterprise Management Partnership (Limited Partnership), as well as 2.83% of the shares held by Suzhou Nansheng No. 4 Enterprise Management Partnership (Limited Partnership). As of November 30, 2025, the net assets of Ulanqab South University were 477.115 million yuan, and through friendly negotiations among all parties, the total transaction price was set at 77.6 million yuan. It is worth noting that this equity acquisition represents a continuation and expansion of Nanda Optoelectronics’ strategic plan for its electronic specialty gas business in 2025. On October 29, 2025, the company announced that it would use all the funds amounting to 92.175 million yuan, which were not utilized in the project to produce 7,200 tons of electronic-grade nitrogen trifluide per year, for the expansion of the Nanda plant in Ulanqab, with the aim of increasing production to 2,000 tons of high-purity electronic-grade nitrogen trifluide per year. The total investment in this project is approximately 368 million yuan. It focuses on 5.5N high-purity product specifications, which can meet the demands for improved chip performance driven by the development of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, thereby helping the company to enter the high-end market swiftly and establish new growth pathways.
