Seeking expert advice: How to operate the valves for feeding material when two or three storage tanks are used for oil and gas storage and transportation?
It’s easy for the materials to mix; the liquid levels in the last few tanks end up being at the same level
Why is discharge done simultaneously? Shouldn’t it be one can at a time?
Without a PID, how can it be monitored? If it’s an outlet, there will be cross-contamination of materials
It seems that it is done to ensure a proper mixture of the materials, so multiple tanks are fed simultaneously. But two tanks are manageable; however, with three tanks, it’s difficult to control the amount of material fed into each tank.
