As the title suggests, there is a large amount of flare condensate in the current units, and I’m not sure how to deal with it. This condensate contains various process fluids, and discharging it into the environment would cause pollution; meanwhile, sending it to wastewater treatment facilities makes it difficult to handle. Could everyone share how their respective units handle this issue? It is advisable to clarify the main components and destinations of the condensates from each torch during the discussion; discussions are welcome.

There’s nothing to learn from that either; since the materials are different, the methods of handling them must be different as well

Well, our company’s upstream sector is coal chemical industry, while its downstream sector is the oil products industry; this includes both large-scale coal chemical production and oil processing. I think most companies in the offshore oil industry are involved in similar types of operations. There’s a lot of condensate left in the upstream torch and the downstream torch; I think this could be an approach, even if the components are different. Besides, the forum isn’t meant for me to answer everything by myself~~
It is recycled back into the system; generally, an underground tank and a pump are used to pump it back into the system for further processing
The volume of torch condensate is uncertain, and its composition also varies widely; it would be great if it could be sent to wastewater treatment!
Can’t it be recycled? Send the liquid hydrocarbons back to the facility for separation and reuse
