How much does one usually earn after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in Shanghai?

I think I would be a frontline operator in a private company; after all, my university is just an ordinary second-tier institution in the mainland. Moreover, I don’t feel any sense of superiority – all I want is a good environment for career advancement

Actually, there’s nothing wrong with starting from the ground level; it helps to build a solid foundation. One can learn a lot of things that aren’t in books.
As an operator, I’m not afraid and I don’t mind the hard work. I’m from the countryside; I only graduated from a second-tier university, and I don’t feel any sense of superiority. During my three years in college, I did part-time work four times during the summer breaks and twice during the winter breaks. I also did part-time work once during my high school years

I joined a private company because I wanted to have a good opportunity for promotion based on my own abilities. I didn’t try working in a state-owned enterprise; I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get in, and I thought the salaries there were low, making it difficult to succeed there
