National Day has arrived once again. What are your plans? Have you already bought plane tickets to take your girlfriend on a trip, to spend time with your spouse, children, and parents, or to return to your hometown to be with your elderly parents? Or will you be working overtime at the office? As people in the chemical industry, especially those working on the production front lines, the plants keep running and production continues; many of our colleagues spend National Day at the work site. They are used to working during holidays, and I want to give them my approval – thank you for your hard work. Sometimes, some colleagues may feel dissatisfied, wondering why others can enjoy National Day while they have to work overtime and feel trapped by this situation. The special nature of this industry requires continuous production, 24/7, without any breaks. In any case, those of us who are working overtime during National Day will do as we usually do: ensure safe production and find time to spend with our families and children. Wishing everyone a pleasant National Day!
For the front-line teams, working overtime on the 11th is normal; production can’t stop – we’re already used to it.

It’s certainly hard work; who doesn’t want to rest? Since you’re working, you have to take on the responsibilities that come with it.
