Regarding the central control room in chemical plants

We currently have a client whose all installations are located in one central control room. However, for operational purposes, they have separated some of these installations into separate companies; as a result, several companies share the same control room. Please discuss whether this is feasible.

The larger units are all under one central control system. If scheduling can coordinate the utility services well, there will be no problems.

As long as it’s a company, no matter how you divide it, it can be brought together. As for maintenance, the company should establish a DCS system operation and maintenance team.
