I was wondering if any of you experts know whether **there are any laws or regulations requiring that the hardware warehouse in a chemical plant operate on shift schedules just like the production workshops?**
It is necessary to assign personnel for duty; in case of emergency repairs at night when materials are needed, they must be available for immediate allocation.
Once you enter the workplace, the first thing to learn is to obey organizational arrangements, rather than going to great lengths to resist them
Usually, people are kept on duty, but if the facility requires shift work, you can’t refuse
It’s not necessarily required, but the personnel on duty at the factory need to have the keys to the hardware store
Someone is on duty during maintenance periods, and during regular production, someone is assigned to be on standby so that they can arrive quickly in case of any issues. The keys to the warehouse can also be kept with the plant’s dispatch team to facilitate quick access in emergency situations
There shouldn’t be any, and even if there is, it’s not mandatory
