What are the responsibilities of the technical department? Is it appropriate for the Technical Department to prepare various documents such as workshop operating procedures, process cards, and information related to startup and shutdown? Is it appropriate for the Technology Department to manage the Production Department?
It can’t be said that you manage the production department – the production department doesn’t need your management. Rather, it’s about coordination and cooperation. So some technicians feel very tired; why? Because they are in charge of the production department rather than working in coordination or cooperation.
The organization of the Production Technology Department is quite reasonable; our production department has an Office of Process Management under it.
We operate at a level that is one step above technology; technology guides production and serves it.
