There has been ongoing debate regarding whether overhead cable trays can be installed in storage and transfer tank areas. During the expert safety inspection, it was recommended that the cable trays located on the ground within the existing tank area be moved outside the fire dike; the cables inside the fire dike should be laid underground, while those outside the dike should be installed in cable trays on the ground surface (in the Liaoning region, Article 12.2 of the \"Technical Specifications for Fire Safety in Petrochemical Storage Sites\" DB21/T1972-2012 applies). Our trough boxes are located outside the tank farm cofferdam (wall), with cables laid at a high level using protective pipe racks inside. The work safety and fire department raised no issues.
