On the selection of feed methods for reactors and columns

For batch production methods, the feed to the reactors and columns must be added in one go, and the containers used for storing raw materials are typically 200L iron drums and ton barrels. Currently, electric diaphragm pumps are used for pumping the material, but when pumping to the end, there is always some residual material left in the tank, and it cannot be pumped out completely. If vacuum extraction is used, it is possible to achieve a very clean result, but this does not meet safety requirements. I would like to ask if any of my colleagues have any good ways to solve this problem?
