Besides doing one’s job well, what other knowledge is needed, and in which direction should one develop?
Knowledge in various fields is needed to deal with different problems; a broad range of knowledge is required, but it’s impossible to achieve an in-depth understanding.
The main focus is on understanding the material balance and utility balance of the entire plant.
Schedule scheduling – prices will rise sooner or later; the key is to know how to act in such situations
Knowledge of processes and equipment is also required, at least more than what others possess
