I think it’s better to handle them separately: Class C warehouses should be designed in accordance with the hazards associated with Class C fires, while the remaining areas should have their fire protection measures determined based on the hazards of Class D fires.
Look at the space your warehouse occupies, make a comparison, and if it’s well-managed, there’s no need to upgrade.
According to Article 3.3.6 of GB50016, Class C intermediate warehouses within factory buildings shall be separated from other areas by firewalls and non-combustible floors with a fire resistance rating of not less than 1.5 hours. As for their fire hazard, the factory buildings and intermediate warehouses should be evaluated separately.
