The blueprint for the 650 m3 chloromethane sphere tank specifies an operating temperature of 40°C and an operating pressure of 0.65 MPa (G). During the hot summer months, venting occurs frequently. If the pressure is increased to a higher level, such as 0.8–0.85 MPa (G), would venting under such conditions be considered overpressure? Are there no legal regulations? Are there any regulations regarding whether pressure vessels are allowed to have an actual operating pressure that is lower than the design pressure but slightly higher than the specified working pressure? It must be used in accordance with the operating conditions specified in the original design; overpressure use is not permitted. If temperature reduction is required, spraying and other cooling methods can be employed; remember not to operate the equipment beyond its capacity or under excessive pressure due to production needs. “\"Safe production\" must be given top priority.
