Recently, Yanshan Petrochemical solved the problem of hydraulic shock in the pipelines used for loading aviation fuel onto trains by installing special pipelines at the end of the filters in those pipelines to collect and store any excess fluid, thereby eliminating hydraulic shock and increasing the loading efficiency by over 35%. At the Phoenix Pavilion train loading and unloading platform in the loading and unloading workshop of Yanshan Petrochemical’s storage and transportation plant, fluctuations in pipeline pressure during routine loading and unloading of aviation fuel can lead to hydraulic shock, causing the aviation fuel filters to vibrate excessively and resulting in spills, which affects the efficiency of loading operations. To address this issue, the technical staff in the loading and unloading workshop of the company’s storage and transportation facility optimized the process flow and developed a renovation plan; specialized pipelines were installed at the ends of the filters at the No. 3 and No. 6 jet fuel loading platforms to collect and store any excess liquid in a centralized manner. After the modification, the vibration of the filter was reduced below the specified level, effectively improving the efficiency of loading jet fuel at the factory.
